SES is Awarded a Multi-Year Contract to Support the VS NTEP
In July 2019, SES was awarded a multi-year contract to continue its administrative and technical support for the USDA APHIS Veterinary Services (VS) National Training and Exercise Program. Prior to this contract, SES provided this support, as a subcontractor, under a cooperative agreement between Iowa State University and APHIS VS.
In this role, SES assists VS NTEP staff and other response stakeholders in: 1) administering the NTEP; 2) designing, conducting and evaluating both discussion- and operations-based exercises; and 3) assisting in the design and delivery of training. These activities support the mission and goals of the VS NTEP:
Mission
- The VS NTEP supports a national alliance for protecting U.S. animal agriculture by developing and maintaining competent and highly-trained responders.
